Age: 14+ High School 1 Full Credit
In this class, Dwane will take students through all of The Magic Key to Spanish by Margarita Madrigal. Students will learn all of Spanish Grammar. This is a rather intense Spanish class, though the book makes the course seem somewhat easy. There are 45 chapters in the book. We will meet for a total of 31 weeks. In the beginning, with the easier chapters, we will move at the pace of two chapters weekly. Students will read the chapters, and then will come to class to discuss what they have read. We will practice speaking Spanish in class. There will be opportunities for questions and discussion. Multiple choice tests and test keys are included for every chapter on Dwane’s site, where grades will be posted.
The class will meet over GoToMeeting in one of two sections weekly:
- Section 1a: each Monday through Thursday from 9:00 AM – 9:25 AM Central Standard Time. Customers who enrolled prior to August 20 are in this section.
- Section 1b: each Monday through Thursday from 9:30 AM – 9:55 AM Central Standard Time. Customers who enrolled after August 20 are in this section.
The format will be readings and conversation each week.
