This will be an exploration of the theology, archeology, history, and other aspects of the OT. Although I may add an additional book to it, I want to teach kids to use a Study Bible. It will be easier if we are all working off the same notes and materials, so I recommend getting them the Zondervan NASB Study Bible (not the MacArthur version). This version uses older notes from a large group of 20th century scholars.
Here it is on Amazon as Hardback or as Bonded Leather – there are also links to used versions on each of these pages. You can also search Bookfinder for used copies. I’ve used this Bible for many years myself and find it to be the best balance of notes, accuracy, and size: study bibles can get too big pretty quickly.
