Dave gives students:

- An understanding of great events such as the Tower of Babel, the Fall of Jerusalem, the Peloponnesian War, and the Rise of the Roman Empire
- An examination of famous ancient men and women such as Abraham, Nebuchadnezzar, Alexander the Great, and Cleopatra
- A moral philosophy to help measure the events of history against a Biblical standard
