Age: 14+ High School 1 Full Credit
In this class, Dwane will finish the last chapters of The Magic Key to Spanish by Margarita Madrigal before reading The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe with the students in Spanish. We will meet for a total of 31 weeks. Students will read the chapters, and then will come to class to discuss what they have read. We will practice speaking Spanish in class. There will be opportunities for questions and discussion. Multiple choice tests and test keys are included for every chapter on Dwane’s site, where grades will be posted.
The live course consists of:
- 31 weeks of classes with lecture, discussion, and conversation
- Weekly conversations with Dwane and other students, requiring practice of textbook material
- Multiple choice tests and keys for every textbook chapter
- Final grade available to parents for their records
The class will meet weekly over GoToMeeting on Mondays, Tuesdays, Wednesdays from 9:00 AM – 9:25 AM Central Standard Time, according to the schedule below. On Thursdays, we will meet at the same time to practice speaking Spanish with each other. The format will be lectures and discussion each week.
