Assignment
- Draw a horizon line halfway up the page.
- Place one vanishing point in the center of the horizon line.
- About 2½ inches below the horizon line, draw a 5-inch square for the front of the large cube.

- Draw orthogonal lines from the corners of the square back to the vanishing point.
- Connect the orthogonals to form the back edges and complete the large cube.
- Inside the large cube, a little more than halfway down, draw a smaller square about 2 inches wide.
- Draw orthogonal lines from the corners of the smaller square back to the vanishing point.

- Connect those orthogonals to create the back of the smaller cube, keeping it fairly shallow.
- Check that the smaller cube appears to sit properly inside the larger cube.
- Erase the parts of the large cube that would be hidden behind the smaller cube.
- Erase any extra orthogonals or construction lines that make the drawing confusing.

- Darken the final visible edges so the smaller cube looks solid and opaque inside the larger cube.
This assignment should take 15-30 minutes.
