In each chapter, Exercice B poses questions that you can answer orally or in writing. There are sometimes multiple ways to answer a question using details from the story and grammar that you have learned.
First, try to answer the questions on your own and write them down somewhere. Then, expand the Possible Answers below each question. You will see French suggestions as well as some reminders about the grammar and vocabulary.
If you get stuck, watch the video below in which Dwane teaches through the entire exercise. You’ll get the same suggested answers and more detailed notes.
1. Jean, est-ce un garçon?
2. Henri, a-t-il un frère?
3. Qui est le père de Jean?
4. Nicole, est-ce un garçon?
5. Yvonne, a-t-elle une sœur?
6. Qui est la sœur d’Yvonne?
7. Qui sont le père et la mere?
8. Ont-ils deux fils?
9. Nicole et Yvonne, ont-elles deux sœurs?
You can watch Dwane working through all the questions below.
