Reflect
Paul says that God has specific plans for our lives. He says we can discover those plans and walk in the good works God has prepared for us. By studying God’s Word, listening to God’s Holy Spirit, and submitting to sound Biblical teaching, we can discover what God calls us to. Discovering God’s vision for our lives helps us structure our days to follow Him. If we aim at nothing, we’re bound to hit it. In a similar way, we need vision and goals for our health. We need wise people in our lives helping us write down goals and track our progress. Vision for our health’s future helps us structure healthy habits today.
Respond
- How can goals for the future help us right now?
- What is an example of a reasonable, attainable goal for your health?
