Hello! If we take the creative writing course do we need to have already read the books he discusses (To Kill a Mockingbird, The Hobbit, etc)

Hi Sarah,

While it’s not required, we highly recommend it. For instance, Jonathan will present a passage of the book, and then analyze it from a writer’s perspective. He’ll provide the immediate context of the quotation, but won’t recap the plot of the books at any specific point.
