This is my 2nd time supervising a student through Visual Latin. I hope I can ask questions about the worksheets here! Last time through there were times we couldn’t find a word, or thought for sure there must be a typo, and we didn’t have anyone to check with.

Absolutely, Jennifer! We keep updated errata for our products on this page in our store.

You can always email a question to our wonderful support team here. They get questions about Latin often.

We are just embarking on our Visual Latin journey. I’m running a co-op with two of my own children as well as four children from other families. I’ve wanted to include Latin in my homeschool “forever” (oldest is a senior this year, and she’s skipping out on her younger siblings for this class!). With Visual Latin, I finally feel like we might manage it!! We start Wednesday. Can’t wait!

Hi, I’ve been homeschooling since the beginning with a senior, sophomore and 8th grader. The two youngest are going to be working through Latin with me this year. We are on week two and so far so good! I’m grateful to know this group exists for those of us that have questions, etc.

Hello. My name is Cathy. We are currently going through the Visual Latin DVDs. My son is in Classical Conversations Challenge A. I appreciate the added support these lessons provide. I’d like to download the worksheets from the website but need a little more direction as far as where to go. Thank you.

Hi, we are having difficulties with 5B. in the workbook. We’ve watched the corresponding video twice now and we are still confused with how there are only 3 possibilities for toga, for instance, when in the chart, it shows 6 different possibilities ending in “a.” Is there an answer key for these workbook pages that I’m missing somewhere?

      Hi, Monica!

This is Dwane. I made an extra video for lesson 5 some time ago. Turns out I had confused a lot of people. See if this helps:

    Hi,

I am just getting ready to start Visual Latin 1 with my 5th grader. The Elementary and Middle School Schedule includes “memorize,” “vocab,” and “review.” I am uncertain what should be done for each of these activities. Are they all used starting with lesson 1?

    Thanks!

Hi! I purchased the course some years ago – more than 5 years ago I think. I think only one (maybe two) of my kids got all the way through Volume 1, but five have enjoyed at least part of the course. They all got a better idea of Latin along the way.

We have a fair few different sources of exposure to Latin – praying in Latin and attending a Latin Mass as well as different Latin curriculum ideas picked up along the way. It’s been fun.

Thanks for sharing, Veronica, and welcome to the Latin group. We’d love to hear your family’s ideas for learning Latin. Share as much as you’d like 🙂
