I am lead learner for my homeschool co-op and this is my first time through Visual Latin. I have dabbled in Henle Latin 1 through lesson 29 (as a former CC Challenge B director) and remember that many of the interrogative and relative pronouns overlap as well as interrogative adjectives.

In the Lesson 14 video, Mr. Thomas refers to interrogative pronouns and later refers to the same ones as relative pronouns. So two questions:

    1. For this particular lesson (#14), are we focusing on interrogative pronouns?

    2. Do we revisit the different cases of interrogative pronouns later in the curriculum or should my students learn all the cases and how to use/translate them as part of this lesson (since he really focused on the nominative case in the grammar video and partially introduced the other cases in the sentence video)?

    Hi Michelle,

    Here are some answers:

    1. The beginning of Lesson 14 gives an introduction to pronouns, a general overview. But, yes, the rest of the lesson focuses mainly on the interrogative pronouns.

    2. Later in Lesson 23, interrogative pronouns are reviewed again, along with the relative pronouns, since they are very similar.

    Hope this helps!
