Quiz problem, the answer should be “the cloud thunders” but that isn’t an option, so I just picked the cloud “shines”, also the underlining for 24 and 25 is incorrect, just saying for future quiz 50 takers.

So I was taking Quiz 30 on Visual Latin. I got to the question that asks me to translate “Luna non clarior est qual ille vir.”

The options translated ‘vir’ as ‘sun’ or ‘nightlight’, but I thought it meant ‘man’. Is this a mistake?

@love2read Yes, that is definitely a mistake! Vir should be sol. And… there’s another error: qual should be quam. The corrected sentence should now read Luna non clarior est quam sol. Thanks for letting us know!
