    I would love to see some examples of the portfolios for Modernity. My son didn’t understand what he’s supposed to do, so he skipped it. facepalm

    Last year, my daughter did her portfolio more like the samples in the link from Ben. However, this year, she was very unmotivated to do it that way and went the route her older brother took last year which was to do comic book style panels. I have attached one since there aren’t any of this type in the example link but I definitely thought this was an acceptable portfolio tactic! (Some of my son’s are in the Photos section of this forum. He did his digitally and his text was typed; hers are hand drawn and include the dialogue as part of the strip.)

    It really can be anything creative that demonstrates that your student is learning something each lesson.

      What a fun idea! Way to mix things up to keep the motivation and creativity!
