This past year of American History was by far the favorite of my kids and myself. This was our 5th year homeschooling (public school start) and we have done a different history curriculum EVERY year because we never really enjoyed any – until this year! We would love to see a Civics of US Government!

Hi Vita! We’re working on a government course! The problem is our teacher is also involved in local and federal non-profit advocacy and times are quite busy in the areas of biblical marriage and protection of the unborn. Delivery of the course is unannounced for that reason.

Meanwhile, what would you like to see/do in such a course?

Just looking for something that would fulfill the US Government course required by most states. But my daughter now really prefers video lectures AND she really enjoyed Dave Raymond’s American History so, while it doesn’t have to be him, I know she would value the class more if it was a similar method/style. She is only a rising 8th grader so we have time 🙂

Duly noted. Unfortunately, Dave is at his max capacity for at least the remainder of 2022.

I hope it’s alright if I add some not-completely-related feedback on this thread. A world geography course would be helpful and appreciated, as well. As said with the government/civics course, some states want to see this on a HS transcript.

Thanks for the input, Jonathan. We’re actually looking into that. Dave Raymond teaches one locally. We’re giving him a break since he finished Christendom 😉

Outstanding! We’re in American History now and thoroughly enjoying it. I’m going back to college myself, seeking a history degree specifically, and his lectures are an excellent refresher.
