Hi. My son is in his second week of Creation Science. As I am scanning through the remaining lessons of the course I don’t see any assignments other than reading and watching. Are there any reports, essays, projects, etc. for the students to write/complete?

Also, he has taken the first quiz and I would like to access it. Is there a way for the parent to view/print the completed quiz? Thanks for your help!

Ah, thank you for saying that – yes, there will be. I need to go in and add them in. I’m afraid the class was so big and wide with all the pieces, those were skipped being included. Look for them next week.

As for the quizzes, go to https://mycompassclassroom.com/dashboard/ and you’ll see all the classes with quizzes.

Just so you know, projects have been added through Lesson 4. I’ll let you know as more go in over the coming week. Thanks for your patience.

Thank you for posting projects for the first four lessons! My next question is: when will you have sample answers available for the course? Having the automatically graded quizzes is great! But without some guidance on what to look for with the other assignments it is impossible to assign grades short of studying the material. I would love to study Creation Science along with my son, but alas, there is not enough time in the day. 😀

If we can include answers, we will – but some are not questions that work like that. I would make the projects pass-fail, and if you need a grade, assign it from his work on the quizzes alongside his work on the class. Ask him to explain to you what he’s learning; you should be able to tell how much he’s picking up.

I appreciate your prompt feedback. We have been an Abeka family for the last 10 years, so this is a very new format for us. But, we will figure out a way to make it work. Thanks again! 🙂
